No Grinch could possibly steal the Christmas cheer from Hatteras Island this year! Postponed due to inclement weather, the 2017 Hatteras Village Christmas Parade went on as usual, only one day after its originally scheduled date. As per normal, the roads were filled with joyous faces gathered to see their loved ones marching through the streets in boisterous costumes covered in glitter and made with love. Making an appearance this year were the Lego folk, some adorable Girl Scouts in a Radio Flyer wagon, the GRINCH (who most definitely DID NOT steal Christmas) and none other than Santa himself! Check out the gallery below for some shots of the various floats as they paraded down Highway 12 spreading all kinds of holiday goodness, creating smiles that radiated from ear to ear!
