Looking for something to do Easter weekend?  Look no further, come and spend Easter at the beach with Midgett Realty!  The beaches are beautiful, serene, and all yours.  Enjoy the last few weekends of un-crowded beaches with your closest family and friends for an Easter getaway.  There are some great Outer Banks events happening during this week that are going to be fun for the whole family.  You don’t want to pass these up.  Easter egg hunts, egg/spoon races, kite flying, and some other pretty neat events will be going on Easter weekend.  An Easter vacation is just what you need!

 

Saturday, March 31 from 1:30pm-4pm, Dare County Parks & Recreation will be hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza!  Located at the Family Recreation Park in Kill Devil Hills, come out and enjoy the afternoon with great, family fun events!  Easter egg hunt will begin at 2pm, and other activities will include sidewalk chalk decorating, pictures with the Easter Bunny, ring & beanbag toss, and more!

 

Friday, April 6 from 10am-4pm & Saturday, April 7 from 10am-4pm be sure to check out “Fly Into Spring and Easter Eggstravaganza” at Jockey’s Ridge and Kitty Hawk Kites!  Come out and experience Kitty Hawk Kites Annual “Fly Into Spring and Easter Eggstravaganza” event.  On both Friday & Saturday you can watch as huge show kites fly into the air at Jockey’s Ridge State Park.  Kites of all shapes & sizes, animal kites and more will be flown, and some of the kites are over 50’ in size!  This event is free and open to the public, so if you are in the area, you can’t miss it.  On Saturday, across from Jockey’s Ridge at Kitty Hawk Kites, there will be the largest Easter egg hunt on the Outer Banks!  Over 2,000 plastic eggs will be hidden.  Also, the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance at the event.

 

Saturday, April 7 from 10:30am-2pm at the Elizabethan Gardens, come and join the fun with their Annual Easter Eggstravaganza!  Surrounded by beautiful gardens blooming, the Elizabethan Gardens will have an Easter egg hunt, Easter photo opportunities, bake sale, crafts and games and more!  Members and friends are free, and non-members must pay standard admission price.

 

With so much to choose from, the Outer Banks is the place to be Easter weekend.  So what are you waiting for?  Pack up the family, beach chairs and floats, and make you way to Hatteras Island!  We look forward to seeing you at the beach!
