It’s the week of July 4th and there are celebrations, fire works, live music, luaus and much more in store for this week!! We always want to keep you in the know of what’s going on while you are vacationing on Hatteras Island! On Tuesday July 2 & Wednesday July 3, head over to Kitty Hawk Kites in Hatteras, Avon and Waves with the kids for some great fun on Kid’s Day! Kid’s Day will be held at Kitty Hawk Kites locations in Hatteras and Avon every Tuesday and in Waves every Wednesday. The day is filled with FREE balloon animals, toy demos, games, kite making, and more! For more information, visit Kitty Hawk Kites online.
On Tuesday July 2 the Beach Klub in Avon will host their weekly Luau! The Avon Luau will feature live entertainment, traditional island food, drinks, and an open pool for the entire family to enjoy. So come out and enjoy the fun!
On Tueday July 2, come out and enjoy Open Mic at Hatteras Sol! Bring your instruments and join in on the fun.
On Wednesday July 3 the Beach Klub in Avon will host their weekly event, Teen Night! Teen Night will feature live DJ music, games, snacks, and more. So drop off the teens for a night of fun!
On Wednesday July 3, everyone is welcome to come out to the Cape Hatteras Angelrs Club for Bingo night! The Cape Hatteras Anglers Club is located on Light Plant Road in Buxton, across the street from Conners Supermarket. Doors open at 6pm and the games begin at 7pm.
On Wednesday July 3, come out and enjoy some great live music at Hatteras Landing from 6-9pm! Enjoy great food, cold drinks and beautiful views from the sunset docks.
Happy 4th of July from Avon!! 4th of July Fireworks are happening at the Avon Pier for 4th of July! Also, there will be a party at the Beach Klub in Avon, featuring music by Kirsten Thein and Band. This event will also feature food and live performances by the Pickle Mamas who specialize in fire throwing and hula hooping. Come out and celebrate with good music, food and fun!
Happy 4th of July from Hatteras!! Come out and join us for some fun on the 4th of July in the heart of Hatteras Village from 2-7pm!! There will be food, lvie music, art, games, ice cream and so much more. There will be a golf cart parade beginning at 4pm, followed by great local music. Lady J and the Jives will be jamming out from 5-7pm; you don’t want to miss this! This 4th of July celebration is sponsored by the Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation and the Hatteras Village Civic Association.
On Friday July 5 come out for a night of great live music at Capt’n Rolos Raw Bar & Grill in Frisco!
On Saturday July 6, enjoy the Hatteras Village & Avon Fish Fries! The weekly Fish Fries will be held at the Hatteras Village Fire Station in Hatteras and at the Avon Fire Station in Avon. From 5-7pm feast on locally caught fried fish, hush puppies, cole slaw, and potato salad! We hope to see you there:)
