Home Blog Small Course Crawl: Frisco Village

08/06/2018

For those of you who want to get a taste of the entire island, we’ve mapped out a “Small Course Crawl” one village at a time. We’ve led you through Hatteras and now we want to take you through Frisco. While a good portion of Frisco is dedicated to maritime forest, there are fewer restaurants here than other villages, but that doesn’t mean they’re lacking in flavor! In fact, I would recommend bringing the antacids, because we aren’t serving any salads on this trek. There are fried treats, cheeses and spice, and believe me, all of its nice!

QUARTERDECK RESTAURANT:

Buffalo Oysters:  Fried and tossed in a buffalo sauce and topped with crumbled bleu cheese, bacon and sriracha.

Fried Chicken Wings:  Plain or spicy. Go hot, hot, hot!

GINGERBREAD HOUSE:

Cheesy Breadsticks:  Covered in ooey, gooey deliciousness!

FRISCO SANDWICH COMPANY:

Fried Pickles:  6 spears breaded and fried served with buttermilk ranch for dipping

House-made Skin-On Potato Chips:  Fried crispy and so delicious!
